These are the rules for using IG Hive. By browsing the site or making a purchase, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

What IG Hive is

IG Hive is a marketplace where verified sellers list Instagram accounts for sale, and buyers can purchase them. We connect buyers and sellers. we are not a party to the transaction itself.

All transactions go through a neutral middleman to protect both sides. We only accept USDC payments on the Solana network to prevent chargebacks and ensure deals are final.

What we do and don't guarantee

We manually verify every seller before they can list, and we manually approve every listing before it goes live. That said:

  • We cannot guarantee that an account will perform the same way after transfer.
  • We cannot guarantee Instagram won't take action on an account after it changes hands.
  • We are not responsible for any loss of access, revenue, or followers after a deal is completed.
  • Account credentials are delivered as-is once payment is confirmed. It is your responsibility to change them immediately after transfer.

The middleman

Every deal uses a middleman. This protects both the buyer and the seller. funds are held until the account is confirmed transferred, then released. The seller pays the middleman fee. This is non-negotiable and agreed to when a seller submits a listing.

IG Hive may, at its sole discretion, offer a goodwill gesture if something goes wrong. but we are under no obligation to do so.

USDC payments

All payments are made in USDC on Solana via Commas (formerly FanBasis). We accept USDC on the Solana network. All sales are final. Because we use USDC, there are no chargebacks. this is intentional and agreed to at the point of purchase.

If a payment is sent to the wrong address, or you send the wrong amount, we cannot recover those funds.

Seller rules

If you're a seller on IG Hive, you agree that:

  • The account you list is yours to sell. you have the right to transfer it.
  • All details you submit are accurate. Misleading buyers is grounds for an immediate ban.
  • You will not attempt to contact buyers directly to bypass the middleman.
  • You bear the middleman fee on every sale.
  • We can reject, remove, or delist any listing at any time without explanation.
  • We can ban your account at any time if we believe you've violated these terms.

Buyer rules

  • You are buying a social media account. You are responsible for understanding what that means.
  • Do not attempt to reverse or dispute a USDC payment after receiving account credentials.
  • Do not contact sellers outside of the IG Hive process.

Prohibited use

You may not use IG Hive to buy or sell accounts that were obtained through hacking, phishing, or any other illegal means. Any listings we discover to be fraudulent will be removed immediately and the seller permanently banned.

Our liability

IG Hive is provided as-is. We are not liable for any financial loss, loss of data, or damage arising from using the platform. Our total liability to you in any circumstance is capped at the amount you paid in fees to IG Hive, if any.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms at any time. We'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated terms.

Privacy policy

We keep this simple: we collect as little as possible, we don't sell your data, and we don't share it with anyone except where necessary to run the platform.

Who we are

What data we collect

If you're just browsing. we collect almost nothing. Cloudflare (our hosting provider) processes your IP address and basic request data as part of serving the site. We don't drop tracking cookies on browsers without consent.

If you leave a review. your review text and star rating. No name or email required.

If you're a seller. your email address (used to identify your account), your Telegram handle, and the details of any listings you submit. Account credentials you submit with a listing are encrypted and only decrypted when a payment is confirmed.

If you make a purchase. payment is handled by Commas. We receive confirmation that a payment was made but we do not store your payment details or wallet address.

Why we collect it

  • Email. to identify your seller account and send login links.
  • Listing data. to display your listing on the marketplace.
  • Account credentials. to deliver them to the buyer after payment. We do not access them ourselves.
  • Reviews. to display on the site.

Who we share it with

  • Cloudflare. hosts the site and provides DDoS protection. They process traffic data.
  • Commas (formerly FanBasis). processes payments. We share only what's needed to create a checkout.
  • Nobody else. We don't sell data, we don't use ad networks, we don't share with third parties for marketing.

How long we keep it

  • Seller accounts. until you ask us to delete them.
  • Listing data. active listings are kept while live. Sold listings are kept for our records. Rejected listings are deleted on request.
  • Account credentials. deleted after successful delivery to the buyer.
  • Reviews. kept indefinitely unless we remove them.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access the data we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct inaccurate data.
  • Ask us to delete your data.
  • Object to how we use your data.

Security

Account credentials submitted by sellers are encrypted using AES-256 before being stored. Login is handled via Cloudflare Zero Trust. we never store passwords. All data is stored in Cloudflare's infrastructure within the EU.

Third-party links

The site links to Telegram and Commas. Once you leave IG Hive, their own privacy policies apply.

Changes

If we make significant changes to this policy, we'll update the date above. Continued use of the site means you accept the updated policy.

We use as few cookies as possible. We don't use advertising cookies or sell your data. Here's exactly what we use and why.

What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file stored on your device when you visit a website. It lets the site remember things about you between visits. like whether you're logged in.

Cookies we use

Essential cookies. these are required for the site to work. You can't opt out of these.

  • ighive_session. keeps you logged in as a seller. Expires after 7 days. Only set if you have a seller account.
  • CF_Authorization. set by Cloudflare Zero Trust when you log in. Required for seller access. Expires with your session.
  • cookie_consent. remembers whether you've accepted or declined cookies. Expires after 1 year.

Cloudflare cookies. Cloudflare sets some cookies automatically as part of providing DDoS protection and performance. These are technical cookies and don't track you for advertising.

  • __cf_bm. bot management. Expires after 30 minutes.
  • _cfuvid. rate limiting. Session only.

What we don't use

  • No Google Analytics or any analytics platform.
  • No advertising or retargeting cookies.
  • No social media tracking pixels.
  • No third-party cookies except those set by Cloudflare.

Managing cookies

You can clear cookies at any time in your browser settings. Clearing essential cookies will log you out of your seller account if you have one. Blocking all cookies may affect site functionality.
